Pumpkin Crumb Cake
It’s pumpkin time again! Here’s a tasty pumpkin
crumb cake that even someone who doesn’t like
pumpkin will want to try.
The "crust", "filling" and "crumble" make three
layers of deliciousness!
Prep time: 10 Minutes
Cook time: 45 Minutes
Total time: 55 Minutes
Ingredients:
1 (18 1/2 ounce) package Yellow Cake Mix
4 Eggs
1/4 lb Butter, melted
3 tablespoons Butter, softened
1 (15 ounce) can Pumpkin puree
1 cup White Sugar
1/4 cup packed Brown Sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons ground Cinnamon
"Crust" Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Spray or grease one 9x13 inch pan.

Reserve 1 cup cake mix for later.
*
Prepare the crust by combining remaining cake
mix with 1 egg and 1/4 lb. melted butter.

Mix well, spread in pan.
"Filling" Directions:

Beat together the pumpkin, 3 eggs, 1/2 cup white
sugar, brown sugar and cinnamon.

Pour over crust.
"Crumble" Directions:
*
Combine reserved 1 cup of cake mix, 1/2 cup
sugar and 3 tablespoons softened butter.
*
Crumble over filling. (Add 1/2 cup chopped nuts
if desired)
Bake combined ingredients for 40 to 45 minutes. |
