"Paddle The World" September Newsletter - 2011

Summer is winding down and what a Summer it has been! I hope our friends on the East Coast have managed to weather the hurricane, earthquake and flooding that has been "blessed" upon you these past couple weeks. One of our customers wrote us mentioning that his wife decided that the best place to spend the night of the hurricane in New Jersey was in their basement sleeping in her inflatable kayak! I guess they do have alternate uses. Peter Z., also from New Jersey, is shown demonstrating a "relaxing" paddle technique in his Sea Eagle 370 inflatable kayak. We attended the Outdoor Retail Show in Salt Lake City last month. Check out the highlights below!  There are some web news links about cardboard kayaks, a whale and a shark. Luckily, not in the same story! This month's outdoor tip is about "How To Make Your Ice & Freezer Packs Last Longer" and our recipe is for a simple, but tasty recipe for "Fisherman's Quick Fish."

Outdoor Tip - Make Your Ice & Freezer Packs Last Longer
Here’s a camping tip I saw while checking in on some camping blogs. I was looking for some fresh ideas for our Labor Day camping trip and this one was so good, I just had to share. Recipe - Fisherman's Quick Fish
This is a great recipe for folks who aren't very good at cooking fish because it's simple and easy to execute. It's also a great recipe for picky eaters. The blend of flavors help to make it delicious, even to the distinctive palate of a six year old! Check out this recipe for Fisherman's Quick Fish ....
